Russia: Syria talksThe Syrian delegation and the opposition figures resumed consultative meetings in Moscow on Thursday, state-run SANA news agency reported.

Sources from Moscow stated that every single group of opposition figures is presenting its own paper without agreement on a joint paper among them so far.

"There is a semi- agreement to continue consultations in Moscow, date to be determined later," sources added.

Three rounds of discussions were held on Wednesday between the Syrian delegation, headed by Syria's UN representative Bashar Al-Jaafari, and that of the opposition figures within the framework of  the Russian-hosted consultative meeting in Moscow.

The Syrian delegation critisized rivals for not mentioning the role of the Zionist entity and that of Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in orchestrating the political unrest in the country, however, Jaafari stressed that meetings shouldn't portray a propaganda.

"Whom who wants to participate in the dialogue without foreign intervention is welcomed in Damascus," he said.

Closed-door meetings that brought together representatives of various opposition factions were held last Monday and Tuesday as part of Russia- sponsored meetings which, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, seek to provide an avenue for discussions with representatives of the Syrian government.
