The Lebanese army announced on Wednesday that two Israeli reconnaissance planes have violated the Lebanese airspace by flying over the South villages.
“At 8.00 a.m. yesterday, an Israeli reconnaissance plane breached Lebanese airspace, entering over the town of Aalma Shaab. The drone effectuated circular flights over the southern region, then left Lebanon at 15.00, exiting over the town of Kfar Killa,” The Armed Forces Orientations Directorate statement said.
“At 15.40 on the same day, a second Israeli drone penetrated Lebanon's airspace over the town of Rmeish. The plane flew over Iklim Kharroub and the south, and then left at 23.00, exiting above Aalma Shaab,” the statement added.
The Zionist entity violates Lebanon's airspace on an almost daily basis despite international condemnations to the overflights that violate UN Resolution 1701 and the country's sovereignty.
