ISIL Gunmen Killed in Homs, Idlib, Army Restores Security to Hasaka

Syrian army units restored security and stability on Wednesday to the villages of al-Watwatiyeh, Jammo, Jammo Farm and the eastern part of Bab al-Kheir village south of Hasaka city, in northeastern Syria.

Moreover, army units killed scores of terrorists in its continued operations carried out in various areas across the country.

In Homs, the national military killed a number of terrorists and wounded others in Rahoum, Unq al-Hawa, Um al-Reesh and north of al-Saan in the countryside of the central province of Homs.

In Idlib, more terrorists were killed in al-lejj, north of Saraqeb, Tal Salmo, Abu al-Dhhour and al-Majass in the countryside of the northern province of Idlib.

Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the western media reports accuse countries, mainly the USA, Turkey and Saudi Arabia of orchestrating the civil conflict in the country and providing terrorist groups with money, weapons and trained mercenaries.

In May 2011, Syrian army launched a wide-scale operation against armed groups and gunmen operating in the country, who are trying since then to infiltrate illegally to Lebanon.
