Zionist entity: anti-Charlie Hebdo ban campaignThe Zionist Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman – along with dozens of supporters of his right-wing Yisrael Beytenu (Israel is our home) party – have gathered in Tel Aviv on Thursday, and raised cartoons ridiculing Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), to protest a ban on the distribution by his party of the French magazine Charlie Hebdo.

Charlie Hebdo is known for printing offensive material, including derogatory cartoons of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

"I lament that we are forced to try to preserve freedom of expression in the state of Israel in this way," The Zionist daily Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Liberman as saying during the protest.

Media reports revealed that a cartoonist at Charlie Hebdo has been recently arrested for drawing a caricature about Jews. However, neither Liberman nor any of the Zionist officials, denounced violation of what he called 'freedom of expression'.

The Zionist Central Election Committee decided to disallow the Yisrael Beytenu party from distributing copies of the satirical magazine, and issued on Wednesday a decree against a plan by Lieberman's party to distribute copies of the magazine after Arab parties filed a complaint against the planned move.
