S. Leader Would Go Along a N. Deal If It Didn’t Contradict with Iran’s Interests

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that he would go along with any nuclear deal with the six major powers if it did not go against the interests of the Iranian nation.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that he would go along with any nuclear deal with the six major powers if it did not go against the interests of the Iranian nation.

Diran khameneiuring an address to Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force commanders on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "I would go along with the agreement in the making," adding that Iran would rather not sign any nuclear agreement with the P5+1 than strike a deal that contradicts the interests of the Iranian nation.

"Our (nuclear) negotiators are trying to take the weapon of sanctions away from the enemy. If they can, so much the better. If they fail, everyone should know there are many ways at our disposal to dull this weapon," His eminence indicated.
