An Iranian provincial chief justice has been assassinated on Tuesday morning in a terrorist attack in the western Kermanshah Province.
Salim Qanbari, the chief justice of the county of Ravansar in Kermanshah, was killed on Tuesday morning as he left his home along with his son, a provincial security official said.
The official added Qanbari lost his life in hospital while his son sustained injuries from the attack.
The security official also pointed out that one of the culprits who was carrying a weapon has been arrested. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
