French Finance Minister Michel Sapin said Wednesday Paris wanted a deal on the Greek bailout crisis by the end of the week.

"Talks have not yet been successful. France's objective is for a deal to be reached with Greece by the end of the week," Sapin said in a cabinet meeting, according to government spokesman Stephane Le Foll.
