The sources said that al-Banyasi was shot dead in Arsal barrens near Mira crossing after he rejected to atone Nusra leader Abu Malek Talli.
He also had several disputes with another commander called Abu Walid al-Maqdisi who imposed on the militant groups in Qalamoun barrens expressing allegiance to ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Fierce clashes erupted after the killing of Banyasi who had close links to Nusra Front.
