Syrian army units on Saturday advanced from several axes in the strategic areas of Daraa, Quneitra and Damascus countryside triangle, establishing full control over Tal Qrein and a number of towns after eliminating the last terrorists’ gatherings in the area, state-run SANA news agency reported.
A military source told SANA that army units established control over the areas of al-Habaria, Kherbet Sultana, Hamreet and Tal Qurein in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, killing a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and destroying their weaponry.
The army units remarkably advanced through special operations, regaining stability and security during the past month to the towns of Deir- al-Adas, al-Danaji and Deir-Maker and establishing control on Tal-Mseih, Tal- Mori, Tal-al-Arous and Tal- al-Sarjeh.
Many terrorists from al-Nusra Front takfiri group were killed during the operations including the so-called the military Emir of the south, the Jordanian terrorist Abu Omar Mokhtar.
The terrorist organizations confirmed on their websites that they have received heavy losses in the area and, and the killing of terrorists Hassan Qassem al-Mafalani, Nawaf Mousa al-Nazzal, Abdul-Rahman Mossab al-Farwan, yahya al-Sobh and Khaled Fallaha.
