Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) representatives started technical talks in Tehran on Monday morning.
The talks were held between the two delegations led for Iran by the IAEA representative Reza Najafi and for the other side by IAEA's Deputy Director General for Safegurds Tero Varjoranta.
The five-member IAEA delegation arrived in Tehran early Monday to hold technical talks with senior Iranian nuclear officials.
The talks are held in the presence of representatives from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit comes days after Iran’s envoy to the IAEA Reza Najafi said Tehran is prepared to allow IAEA inspectors to visit a site in western region of Marivan.
