Sayyeda Fatema Husseini Khamenei, 89, had been hospitalized in one of Tehran's hospitals a few days ago.
The venue and time for her funeral ceremony has not yet been announced by her family.
The Leader's sister died only two days after the demise of President Hassan Rouhani's mother.
Mrs. Sakineh Peivandi, 90, who had been hospitalized in Tehran's Milad hospital a few days ago passed away at 7:30 am on Thursday.
She had suffered some diseases due to old age.
