Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem asserted that the success which the party attained in face of ISIL and al-Nusra Front has protected Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem added that when Hezbollah mujahidin (fighters) reached Qalamoun's villages and raided the terrorist sites where the takfiris used to prepare the booby-trapped cars, Lebanon saw a kind of security stability.
"How would the situation be if Qalamoun were controlled by ISIL and Qassayr were held by Nusra," his eminence wondered.
Sheikh Qassem called on all the Lebanese to back the Lebanese army in encountering the takfiris in Bekaa.
Domestically, Sheikh Qassem expressed Hezbollah support to electing a president as soon as possible, warning about the dangers of deactivating the Lebanese constitutional institutions.
