The sources said that the strike on Saada market took place early morning on Friday, noting that several civilians were martyred.
Overnight strikes targeted Sanaa, where explosions were heard in the capital, the sources said, noting that the Yemeni air defense systems repelled the hostile warplanes.
Health ministry officials said also on Friday that at least 39 civilians have been killed in more than 24 hours of Saudi assault on Yemen, AFP reported.
Earlier on Thursday night al-Manar correspondent reported that fresh strikes targeted an army camp in Sanaa as well as different positions in Saada.
Saudi Arabia along with other Gulf and Arab states have been since Wednesday night waging a military attack on Yemen, in a bid to protect the government of the fugitive President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who fled the country to Oman earlier on Thursday.
The declaration of theassault came from Washington by the Saudi ambassador to US Adel al-Jubeir.
