In Homs, units of army carried a number of precise operations at dawn on Monday in al-Rastan city in the northern countryside of Homs province.
A military source told SANA that the operation resulted in destroying a cluster of mortar launchers and dens of al-Nusra Front terrorist organization, leaving a number of terrorists dead and others injured.
Other army units directed intensive strikes to terrorist organizations’ gatherings in al-Mshairfeh al-Junobia, al-Salehia, Salam Gharbi and Arshouna in the eastern countryside of Homs province, resulting in killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, most of them from al-Nusra and “Ahrar al-Cham” movement.
In Rahoum village, 105 kilometers to the east of Homs city, the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists from ISIL, killing a number of their members and destroying their equipment.
Other army units destroyed terrorists’ dens, killing many of them and injuring others in the areas of Mas’ada, Ubo Hawadid, Salam Sharqi, and al-Rastan.
In Daraa, army units targeted hideouts of al-Nusra terrorists in Tal al-Hara in Daraa province, destroying a number of their vehicles, weapons, and ammunition.
In Jidor Horan area, army units destroyed rocket launchers and vehicles used by terrorists in Inkhel city, Zimrin, Smlin, and Um al-Awsaj towns.
An army unit destroyed a vehicle along with all the terrorists, ammo and weaponry on board in al-Gharya al-Garbia village in the northeast countryside of the province, while another Army unit eliminated many terrorists in Khrbit Awad village.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged the death of several of their members on their social media pages, including Louay Samih al-Eid and Abad al-Wahab Khaled al-Hilal.
In Quneitra, a unit of the army and armed forces destroyed a number of vehicles belonging to al-Nusra terrorists with those on board near the roundabout of Naba’a al-Sakher village in the countryside of Quneitra province.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists from al-Nusra organization who tried to infiltrate to Tal al-Ahmar and al-Amal farms in Ain al-Nourieh in the northwestern countryside of Quneitra.
At least 10 terrorists were killed and scores were injured in these clashes, while others fled towards Jubata al-Khashab village, according to a source in the province.
