Hezbollah and Future movement held on Tuesday the tenth session of dialogue at the speaker Nabih Berri’s residence in Ain al-Tineh.

The two parties discussed the security plan in Lebanon and issues related to the refugees, said a statement released following the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Hussein Khalil - the political assistant of Hezbollah Secretary General, Minister Hussein Hajj Hasan and MP Hasan Fadlallah. The three were representing Hezbollah.

Nouhad Machnouk – the interior minister, Nader Hariri – the director of former PM Saad Hariri bureau, and MP Samir al-Jisr were representing the Future movement in the session.

Speaker Optimistic Dailogue Will Continue
On his turn, Speaker Nabih Berri voiced optimism that dialogue between Hezbollah and Future movement will continue despite the tension over the Saudi aggression against Yemen, As Safir newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The daily quoted Berri’s visitors as saying that “both sides of the dialogue are committed to the talks despite some calls to halt it.”

“Why doesn't the dialogue adhere to the positions of Iran and Saudi Arabia, who despite their differences, are engaged in calm rhetoric,” he noted.
