House Speaker Nabih Berri said Lebanon "is ready to host dialogue sessions over the crisis in Yemen especially that all antagonist sides called for dialogue," indicating that the dialogue "has become more necessary on the Arab and regional levels in order to avoid any aggravation of the situation."
Berri's stance came in the context of Wednesday's parliamentary gathering.
The Saudi-led coalition began on March 26 air strikes against Yemen, killing or wounding hundreds of civilians and causing much destruction across the state.
In response, the Yemeni army and the public committees have faced the aggression and its local allies, including mainly Qaeda terrorists, controlling most of the provinces across the country.
