Hezbollah blasted some Lebanese media outlets on Friday for propagating false reports on the number of Hezbollah martyrs in al-Qalamoun battle.

In a statement released by the party’s Media Relations on Thursday, Hezbollah described such reports are baseless, noting that the true number of Hezbollah martyrs in the battle is three.

“Some Lebanese media outlets insist on propagating false news about the number of Hezbollah martyrs in al-Qalamoun battle, claiming that 40 fighters were martyred,” the statement said.

“These reports are totally false and baseless. The true number of Hezbollah martyrs in this battle is three…. And we have informed the honored families of these martyrs,” the statement added.
