She said such allegations were nothing but efforts to put the blame on others based on repeated and unfounded analysis.

Saudi foreign minister put finger of accusation on Iran in a meeting with his US counterpart, she said.

The Saudi officials are accusing Iran of intervening in Yemen ignoring the fact that Riyadh with the aid of its allies has been targeting Yemen for over 40 days now, she said.

The foreign ministry spokeswoman stressed that the Saudi Arabia has virtually taken the country hostage through their ground, marine and aerial blockade.

People in Yemen like other independent nations will never and under no circumstances let other countries interfere in their affairs, she said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran within its Islamic and humanitarian principles calls for immediate lift of blockade and swift shipment of relief aid in order to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen, she said.
