Fierce clashes have been taking place between the Syrian army and the terrorist militants in Ariha front and Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside.

Security sources told al-Manar that the militants have been trying to open other fronts in a bid to press and exhaust the Syrian army. However all these attempts have failed to do so.

The sources added that the Syrian army is shelling and staging airstrikes against the militants’ positions, noting that the terrorists have failed to penetrate the defenses of the Syrian army in that front.

The armed forces have been engaged in an operation to free the trapped soldiers in Jisr al-Shoghour.

On Ariha front, the armed forces thwarted fierce attack by the militants, killing and injuring large number of the terrorists, including commanders.
