Iraqi Prime Minister Vows to Recapture Ramadi in Coming Days

Iraqi forces will recapture the city of Ramadi, seized earlier by the ISIL terrorist group, in coming days, Iraq’s Prime Minister Haider Abadi said.

AbadiIraqi forces will recapture the city of Ramadi, seized earlier by the ISIL terrorist group, in coming days, Iraq's Prime Minister Haider Abadi said.

On May 17, ISIL Takfiri militants took control of Ramadi, located some 80 miles West of Baghdad after several days of intense fighting, FNA reported.

"It makes my heart bleed because we lost Ramadi, but I can assure you we can bring it back soon," Abadi told the BBC on Sunday, adding that it was a matter of not months, but days.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue committing their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
