"The government is responsible for carrying out its duties in this regard," the bloc said in a statement in the wake of its regular weekly meeting.

The Bloc noted that "the resistance's permanent is always ready to defend Lebanon and its people, and it's a legitimate right, which supports the army and security and military institutions in this regard."

"As long as threats persist, the legitimacy of the resistance shall remain in the name of the international law and as stipulated by universal conventions and texts," Bloc said.

The Bloc also indicated that some voices issued by some members of the al-Mustaqbal party will not enable them to cover up their involvement in supporting the Takfiri terrorist groups in Lebanon.
