Al-Manar correspondent in Yemen reported that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched 10 air strikes on al-Hesba neighborhood in the capital Sanaa.
Elsewhere in the province of Saada, 20 raids were reported on Nushour and Sahar areas. Also in Saada 4 other raids were reported in Mathab area in al-Safraa governorate, our correspondent said.
He added that the coalition warplanes also launched airstrikes on al-Mansoura and al-Owaish in Aden.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees cleansed al-Yatmah region, in al-Jawf province , from al-Qaeda terrorists, the correspondent said, adding that several militants were captured during the operation.
Politicaally, Washington said Tuesday that Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Anne Patterson had met Ansarullah representatives in neighboring Oman to mull the proposed Geneva conference.
The Oman meeting aimed to "reinforce our view that there can only be a political solution to the conflict in Yemen and that all parties including the Huthi" should participate in the UN-led political process, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said.
Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by a Saudi-led coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
However, and despite intensive coalition raids, Yemeni army, backed by popular committees has been engaged in fierce clashes to cleanse several areas across the country from al-Qaeda-linked militants.
