The Israeli Channel 2 broadcast a report about a survey that was conducted by the Strategic Zionist Polices Institute showing that 53 % of Saudis consider that Iran is their enemy, not 'Israel'.

In this context, the veteran Saudi General Anwar Oshqy, who was the counselor of the deceased King Abdullah bin Abdolaziz, met the general director of the Israeli foreign ministry Dore Gold, who is close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.

Oshqy highlighted, during the meeting, the Saudi desire to reach a settlement with 'Israel' in order to cooperate in face of Iran.
