Dozens of Yemenis have been martyred and injured as the Saudi Arabia continues its brutak aggression on the Arab impoverished state.
At least 45 people were martyred as the Saudi warplanes targeted the armed forces headquarters in the Yemeni capital early on Sunday, a medic said, according to AFP news agency.
"At least 20 civilians and 25 soldiers and officers were killed" in four raids that hit the headquarters in the Tahrir residential neighborhood in central Sanaa, the medic said.
The raids hit residential buildings, including five houses that were completely destroyed, witnesses said.
Similar attacks were reported in the southwestern province of Ta’izz.
Saudi artillery fire also hit the districts of Rahban, Shida and Razih in the northwestern border province of Sa’ada, which has been one of the hardest hit locations since Saudi Arabia launched its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 - without a UN mandate.
On Saturday, nearly 40 people were killed as warplanes bombarded a school, a media center and a residential area among other locations across the eastern province of Hajjah.
Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-US coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
