Syrian Army Foils Takfiris’ Attacks in Idleb, Hama

Units of the army and armed forces killed and foiled terrorist attacks, killed and injured scores of them and destroyed their hideouts, dens and supply routes in different areas of the country.

In Idleb, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of terrorist organizations’ vehicles, killing and injuring scores of their members, in Abu al-Duhour, al-Majass, Um Jerin, and to the north of Khashir in the countryside of Idleb province, a military source said.

Scores of the terrorists who attacked the posts, located in the countryside of the two adjacent provinces Hama and Idleb, were killed at the hands’ of the soldiers.

The units also destroyed terrorists’ vehicles equipped with machineguns, rockets and mortar launching pads.

In the countryside of Homs province, army air force killed and injured terrorists of the so-called 'Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group, destroyed their vehicles at the vicinity of Jizel, Wadi Al-Mask and Bayarat area.

In the southern province of Sweida, an army and armed forces unit destroyed hideouts and dens of terrorist organizations at the western side of Tha’ala airport, in the countryside of the province.

In Quneitra, army units targeted groups of al-Nusra Front terrorists in al-Breiqa and al-Hamidiyeh villages in the southern countryside of the province.

Many terrorists were killed there and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.

Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the western media reports accuse countries, mainly the USA, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar of orchestrating the civil conflict in the country and providing terrorist groups with money, weapons and trained mercenaries.

On May 2011, Syrian army launched a wide-scale operation against armed groups and gunmen operating in the country, who started to escape the army blows and infiltrate illegally to Lebanon.
