Zionist occupation soldiers killed a Palestinian man during an arrest raid a northern West Bank refugee camp, as the Israeli jets bombed Gaza strip.
According to Palestinian officials, Ibrahim Sarhan, 21, was martyred as he emerged from a mosque during the Israeli raid in the Al-Fara refugee camp.
Israeli occupation military confirmed that its soldiers had shot a Palestinian, claiming they had no information on whether he had died.
"One of the Palestinians tried to flee arrest, at which point the soldiers began an arrest procedure, eventually firing at his lower body," a spokeswoman told AFP news agency.
Shortly after the shooting, Islamic Resistance Movement, “Hamas” released a statement in Gaza saying Sarhan had been one of its activists in the Al-Fara camp.
Hamas also said the Israeli military has deliberately delayed Sarhan’s evacuation by ambulance after he was shot.
"We call on the masses of our people... to participate in the funeral march of the martyr Sarhan," the group said in a statement.
On the other hand, Israeli jets bombed two sites in Gaza also on Wednesday, wounding one woman.
Palestinian medical sources said one woman was slightly hurt in an Israeli air strike east of Gaza City and was taken to the nearby Shifa hospital.
The Israeli military said on Tuesday night that three rockets were fired into the occupied territories from Gaza. None of them caused any casualties but one caused minor damage to a home.
The occupation military claimed its aircraft "targeted two weapons manufacturing sites in the northern Gaza Strip."
