Iranian Parliament (Majlis) ratified a legislation on Tuesday which urges the government to maintain nuclear rights and achievements of the nation, state-run IRNA news agency reported.
The motion was adopted by the parliament with 213 votes in favor, 10 against and six abstentions from a total of 244 representatives who took part in the voting.
It asserts that the results of nuclear talks with the Group 5+1 will be valid only if they contain in vivid terms that all sanctions should be removed at once immediately after Iran starts to act in accordance to its commitments.
The motion also says that the International Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) is only allowed to carry out regular inspections at Iranian nuclear sites within the frameworks of the Additional Protocol and is not allowed to have access to military, security and non-nuclear sensitive places or interrogate the Iranian scientists.
The motion stresses that the regulations set by the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has to be fully observed and that the outcome of the nuclear talks should be reported to the Majlis based on Article 77 and Article 125 of the Constitution.
The legislation also obliges Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to report the process of the final deal's implementation to the Iranian lawmakers every six months.
Based on the motion, the Iranian House of Representatives rejects any restriction for gaining nuclear sciences or developing peaceful nuclear technology.
The Iranian Parliament approved the single-urgency motion to oblige the government to preserve its nuclear achievements in case of newly-imposed sanctions by the US Congress.
