Daraa
The Syrian army targeted a hideout of terrorist groups’ leaders while they were holding a meeting in the southeastern neighborhood of Busra al-Sham city, 40 km to the east of Daraa city in southern Syria.
The hideout was completely destroyed, said the source, confirming that all those who were inside were killed.
A number of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed and their arms and ammunition were destroyed during an operation by an army unit against their hideouts to the east of al-Nueimeh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa province.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists to the west of Khirbet Ghazaleh town, leaving a number of them killed or wounded.
Meanwhile, an army unit killed a number of terrorists as it targeted their gatherings in the western side of Kafar Shams village, which is considered a center for the Syrian offshoot of al-Qaeda, al-Nusra Front, and the so-called “Al-Muthanna Movement”.
Several vehicles equipped with machine guns were destroyed by an army unit in various areas in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
Later, the source said army units targeted groups of terrorists and their hideouts in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood and in the towns and villages of al-Nueimeh, Atman, Mzeirib, Enkhel, al-Sheikh Miskin, Ibta’, al-Yadouda in the countryside of Daraa province, destroying vehicles and weapons and ammunition dumps and killing a large number of the terrorists.
Quneitra
In the neighboring Quneitra province, gatherings of al-Nusra terrorists and several of their sites were targeted during army operations in various areas in the northeastern countryside of Quneitra province, southern Syria.
Some of the gatherings hit were near the cemetery of Ofania village, where many terrorists were killed or injured and their arms and ammunition destroyed, according to the source.
Terrorist organizations in Quneitra countryside have suffered heavy losses in personnel during the past days as many of their groups’ leaders were confirmed killed, including Abu Humam, the leader of al-Nusra’s so-called “military wing in al-Shaikh Mountain” who is nicknamed Abu Humam and Abu Hasan al-Jinani, who is the leader of “Ahfad al-Rasoul Brigade”.
In the meantime, army units destroyed an ammunition depot and killed a number of terrorists in Mas’hara and al-Toloul al-Homr in Quneitra countryside.
Idleb
In the northern province of Idleb, a unit of the army and armed forces killed a terrorist group and destroyed an armored vehicle with terrorists of al-Nusra onboard at Janet al-Qura village in the countryside of the northern province.
Homs
An army unit, aided by the popular defense groups, ambushed a group of terrorists of ISIL near al-Tafha village in the eastern countryside of the central province of Homs.
A military source told SANA Tuesday that the dozens of the terrorists were killed in the operation, which also resulted in the destruction of a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun.
ISIL terrorists also suffered heavy losses during army operations against their gatherings in Unq al-Hawa and al-Msheirfeh al-Shamaliyeh in Jebb al-Jarrah area.
Hasaka
Meanwhile, a source in the northeastern Hasaka province told SANA that units of the army and armed forces destroyed hideouts and gatherings of “ISIL” terrorists in Sabah al-Khair and Milbiya areas in the countryside of the province.
Raqqa
The Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) liberated the city of Ain Issa from ISIL, expelling all its militants.
