Homs
A number of ISIL terrorists were killed and others were injured in intensive operations carried out by units of the army and the armed forces against their positions in the framework of a wide-scale military operation against ISIL in Palmyra and the eastern countryside of the central Homs province, a military source told SANA Tuesday.
The source added that units of the army carried out concentrated strikes against position of the ISIL terrorists in the villages of Abu Twaleh and Marhatan and to the north of Qasr al- Hayr al-Gharbi in the countryside of Palmyra.
A car equipped with heavy machineguns and loaded with ammunition was destroyed in the strikes while trying to reach the surroundings of Palmyra City to support the collapsing positions of the ISIL terrorists.
Other army units killed scores of ISIL terrorists and destroyed their vehicles at the two villages of Abu Tawale and Marhatan in the countryside of Palmyra, Homs province.
Later, a military source said that an Army unit thwarted an infiltration attempt by a terrorist group from the direction of Abu Tawwaleh towards al-Bayyarat highway, in addition to killing a number of terrorists and destroying one of their vehicles east of Palmyra.
Aleppo
In the northern province of Aleppo, units of the army and armed forces carried out intensive operations against dens and supply routes of the Takfiri organizations in the towns of Shamer and Hraitan, villages of Mran and Hardatnin and in the cities of Anadan and al-Bab in the northeastern countryside of the province.
The source added that a number of terrorists, most of them from al-Nusra Front, the Syrian offshoot of al-Qaeda, were killed and others were injured in the operations, in addition to destroying a number of their vehicles which were equipped with various types of machineguns.
Army units also killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles and their arms and ammunition in concentrated strikes against their dens and positions in al- Mansoura village, and in the towns of Kafr Dael, Kafr Hamra, and Khan al-Asal in the western and southwestern countryside of the province, according to the source.
Scores of terrorists were also killed and others were injured and their vehicles were destroyed in the villages of Jib al-Safa, Rasm Harmel, and al-Ridwanieh in southeastern countryside of the province.
In the eastern countryside, units of the army carried out concentrated bombardments against dens and positions of the ISIL terrorists in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy, killing dozens of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles which were equipped with machineguns.
Heavy losses were also inflicted upon terrorist organizations in special operations carried out by army units against their positions in the neighborhoods of al-Lyarmoun, al- Sheikh Said, AL-Rashidin 4, Bab al-Hadid and al-Castello in the city of Aleppo.
A number of Takfiri terrorist organizations’ members killed and injured in army operations in Al-Bab, Heritan and Kafar Dael in the countryside of Aleppo province.
Idleb
In the neighboring province of Idleb, the army operations destroyed terrorists’ dens and hideouts of al-Nusra in Om Jerin and Qar’e Ghazal in Abu al- Duhour area in the countryside of Idleb province.
Hasaka
The army destroyed two car bombs for ISIL terrorists near al-Zohour neighborhood to the south of Hasaka city.
Earlier on Monday night, army units destroyed 15 vehicles of ISIL terrorists in the southern countryside of Hasaka Province.
The army bombarded a convoy of ISIL terrorists in al-Mailabiyeh village in the southern countryside of Hasaka Province.
The sources added that the army operations resulted in the demolishing of 15 vehicles with all terrorists on board, which were trying to support terrorist groups in al-Mailabiyeh village.
Sweida
An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeted gatherings of ISIL terrorists and their hideouts in Tal al-Fara in Shaqa area in the northeastern countryside of the southern Sweida province.
A number of the terrorists were killed or injured, and their arms and ammunition were destroyed in the operations.
Damascus Countryside
Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of terrorists, mostly from Al-Nusra terrorist organizations, in different areas of Damascus countryside.
During Army concentrated operations, at Al-Mugheer village and close by farms of Darkhabiya town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, a number of terrorists from Al-Nusra were killed in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, in Al-Zabadani area, the military source confirmed the killing of five terrorists at the road of Al-Hosba, adding that other operations resulted in destroying a den of terrorists at Silan roundabout in Zabadani city center.
Deir Ezzor
A military source told SANA that the Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force destroyed tow dens for ISIL leaders east of Deir Ezzor city, killing scores of terrorists in the process.
Latakia
In the coastal province of Latakia, Army’s Air Force destroyed vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns for terrorist organizations in the northeastern countryside of the province.
The Army’s Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles for terrorists, some of which equipped with heavy machine guns, in Kitf al-Rumman and al-Nouba Mountain in the northern countryside of Latakia.
Hama
A military source told SANA that Army units eliminated scores of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Rahraha, al-Alqaneh, Sarha, al-Rahjan, Oum Mayyal, and in the surroundings of Sheikh Hilal in Hama countryside.
