British Prime Minister David Cameron felicitated Iranian President Hasan Rouhani on the nuclear deal clinched between the Islamic Republic and the world powers.

British Prime Minister David Cameron felicitated Iranian President Hasan Rouhani on the nuclear deal clinched between the Islamic Republic and the world powers.

In a telephone call on Thursday night, British prime minister congratulated President Rouhani on striking a win-win agreement in Vienna, Iranian media reported.British PM David Cameron

"You (President Rouhani) had a very constructive role in striking this final deal; we will try to implement this agreement in the next phases," Cameron said.

Meanwhile, he pointed to the fight against terrorism throughout the world.

"We consider terrorists as very dangerous and we should take action to uproot them; we know that this poses a lot of threats to the entire region and it should be confronted."

For his part, Rouhani underlined that the negotiating sides' commitment to the fulfillment of their undertakings will be the main success in the final deal.

'We are happy that we reached win-win results in these negotiations; therefore, all countries of the Group 5+1 should do their best to implement the next phases of the nuclear agreement," President Rouhani said during the phone conversation.

The Iranian president also thanked Britain for its constructive role in the negotiations.

Referring to the Tehran-London relations, President Rouhani said, "We favor bilateral relations based on mutual respect and we think that there is the needed capacities for resumption of Iran-Britain relations."
