Martyr Hasan Akil: "The Earth will only be inherited by Allah’s righteous servants"
Martyr Hasan Ahmad Akil
Hasan Akil was born on the 21st of August, 1982 in Jubbein, South Lebanon, where he grew, lived, and martyred.
Influenced by the martyrdom of his brother, Ali, Hasan joined the Imam Mahdi scouts and the Islamic Resistance when he was 16 years old.
He was highly committed to the Islamic Resistance path, and was constantly concerned of motivating his friends, urging them to perform prayers; he used to give them lectures in theology.
Football was among martyr Hasan’s interests, and so he formed a football team. However, his main scope of interest was Jihad.
He was known for his high spirituality and self-confidence as well as his excellence in every work related to Jihad. He gained the love and trust of everyone who knew him, by his generosity, affection, and sense of humor.
In the battlefield:
On the 9th of August, as Israeli soldiers infiltrated into Lebanon, Hasan and a group of fighters were heading to the Jubbein Valley to defend it, but enemy forces spotted the group and set an ambush. Eventually, many resistance fighters were killed, including martyr Hasan.
