In Lattakia, the Syrian Army recaptured the fourth hilltop at Jubb al-Ahmar after destroying al-Nusra Front's hideout on top of the Prophet Younis Mountains of Northeastern of the province, killing at least 20 militants, military sources said.
The sources said that the Syrian army, the National Defense Forces (NDF), and Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) recaptured the hilltop at Tal SyriaTel, where they killed as many as 20 militants from al-Nusra Front, the Free Syrian Army’s (FSA) “Coastal Brigades” and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups.
In addition to their assault on Jubb al-Ahmar, the Syrian Armed Forces are attempting to recapture the contested town of Al-Bahsa, which is currently 60 percent under their control.
In Hama, units of the army and armed forces on Tuesday carried out special operations against dens and positions of terrorists from the so-called “Jaish al-Fatih” in the village of al-Bahsa and in the surroundings of al-Masheik in the northwestern countryside of the central Hama province.
A military source told SANA that a unit of the army clashed with a terrorist group which infiltrated into the surroundings of al-Masheik village.
The source added that most of the terrorist group’s members were killed in the clashes and their vehicles were destroyed.
Meanwhile, all members of a terrorist group were either killed or injured most of them are from al-Nusra Front and the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham “in operations carried out by the army last night and Tuesday morning against their dens in al-Bahsa village in the northwestern countryside.
In Idleb, the army air force continued to carry out operations against dens and vehicles of the so-called “Jaish al-Fatih” in the countryside of the northern Idleb province.
The army air force staged a number of strikes against dens and positions of al-Nusra Front and other Takfiri organizations in the village of al-Kafir and city of Jisr al-Shughour , killing scores of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.
The air force also staged airstrikes against dens and positions of the terrorist organizations in the villages of al-Tir’aa, Qari’a al-Ghazal and al-Shwaiha and in Abu al-Dohour town in the southeastern countryside of the province.
A number of terrorists were killed in the strikes and others were injured and their vehicles and arms were destroyed.
Meanwhile, heavy losses were inflicted upon al-Nusra terrorist organization in the arms and personnel in strikes carried out by the army air force against their dens in the villages of al-Fatira and Hass in the southern countryside of the province.
In Aleppo, an army unit targeted hideouts and positions of terrorists linked to al-Nusra Front and the so-called “Al-Sham Front” and “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” in the neighborhoods of Bani Zaid, al-Lairamoun, al-Rashidin and near the Scientific Research Center in the northwestern and western part of Aleppo city.
Another army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Mansourah, 10 km to the west of Aleppo city, killing a number of them.
Terrorists’ movements were targeted in al-Sheikh Lutfi village and eastern al-Sfeireh city in southeastern Aleppo. A number of the terrorists’ vehicles which were equipped with machine guns were destroyed.
The army units continued operations against positions of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy in eastern Aleppo, leaving a number of them dead.
