A judge Wednesday indicted six suspects, including Lebanese nationals, for suspected links to ISIL, and the killing and attempted murder of Lebanese soldiers.

Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawwan issued an indictment against three Lebanese and three Syrians who allegedly belong to ISIL and are involved in the killing or the attempted murder of soldiers.

If convicted the suspects, who were referred to the military court, could face death penalty.
