Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem hoped that regional countries realize Iran’s strategic role in the region.

As he received the head of Tehran Council, engineer Mehdi Chamran, Sheikh Qassem hailed the constructive role of Iran in aiding the peoples of the region and the resistance against the Zionist enemy, Hezbollah Media Relations said in a statement on Thursday.

Chamran was accompanied by the cultural advisor in the Iranian embassy in Beirut, Mohammad Shariatmadari, the statement added.

“World powers were obliged to dialogue Iran to clinch a deal because of its important role in maintaining stability in the region,” Sheikh Qassem said, calling on the regional countries “utilize from the Islamic Republic’s extended hand.”

Hezbollah deputy S.G. said the Lebanese resistance movement is proud of its relation with Iran and the wise leadership, represented by Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
