Fighters of the Islamic Resistance of Lebanon - Hezbollah - and the Syrian army forces continued on Tuesday to launch wide-scale operations against the terrorist organizations’ hotbeds, positions and hideouts in the southern Syrian city of Zabadani, killing scores of their members and injuring others.
Hezbollah and the Syrian military established control over al-Mas district, as well as certain blocs in Al-Zahra neighborhood and the Bridge roundabout in west of the city, making new advance in terms of tightening the noose around the remaining terrorists in central city, located to the northwest of Damascus.
A military source told SANA news agency that the terrorist organizations lost all of their positions to the last one in the district, noting that a facility for making explosive devices was found during the combing operations.
The Islamic Resistance and the Syrian army launched a military operation in the Zabadani city bordering Lebanon, to drive terrorist groups out of the area.
