Syria has made great efforts to arrange for a meeting that would approximate the implementation of the Palestinian reconciliation.

Among efforts made to implement the Palestinian reconciliation and end all the pending issues, delegations from Hamas and Fatah will hold a meeting in the coming few days, well-informed sources in Damascus revealed.

The sources further stated that “the Syrian leadership has played a major role in arranging for this meeting, and has made great efforts to reestablish the relation between the two movements,” reassuring Syria’s support to the Palestinian people.
