In Quneitra, units of the army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles in operations carried out last night and Tuesday morning against their dens and positions in the countryside of the southern Quneitra province.
A military source told SANA that two armored vehicles belonging to al-Nusra Front terrorists were destroyed and a number of them were killed in the villages of al-Hamidyia, Abu Shabta and Jibat al-Khashab.
Field sources told SANA that a unit of the army, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, in Khan Arnaba destroyed four of the terrorists’ machinegun-equipped vehicles and killed all terrorists onboard on the road linking al-Hurriya and al-Hamidyia in the northwestern countryside of the province.
The sources added that a unit of the army destroyed an armored vehicles belonging to al-Nusra terrorists in a concentrated strike against one of their hotbeds in al-Hamidyia, 7 km to the north of Quneitra City.
Another unit of the army, in cooperation with the popular defense groups in Hadar village, repelled an attempt by terrorists to infiltrate the sites of al-Hamryia in Hadar village and al-Amal farms to the east of Taranja, killing scores of terrorists and injuring others.
Meanwhile, a unit of the army, in cooperation with the popular committees in Harfa village, also foiled an attempt by al-Nusra terrorists to infiltrate from Beit Jin farm to Mashati Hadar “farmers’ houses”.
In Aleppo, units of the army and armed forces carried out intensive operations against dens and hotbeds of terrorists of the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group and other Takfiri organizations in the northern Aleppo province.
Army units defending Air Force Academy destroyed a number of the ISIL vehicles and killed a number of them in operations against their hotbeds in the surroundings of the Academy.
In Aleppo city, many terrorists were killed in operations carried out by the army against the hotbeds of the so-called “al-Tawhid Brigade,” “Arhar al-Sham Islamic Movement,” “Soqour al-Sham Brigades,” “Jaish al-Islam,” and other Takfiri organizations in the neighborhoods of Bostan al-Basha, Karm al-Jabal, al-Kallasa, al-Sheikh Said, Qadi Askar, al-Mashhad, al-Rashidin 4, al-Salihin,Bani Zaid, Karm al-Qatrji and al-Sha’ar.
To the southwest of Aleppo City, units of the army killed scores of terrorists and injured others and destroyed a number of their vehicles and their ammunition in concentrated operations against their positions in Khan al-Asal, Khawabi al-Asal and al-Mansoura, 10 km to the west of Aleppo City.
On the road leading to al-Nairab Airport, a unit of the army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their arms and vehicles in a precise operation against their dens and positions in Aziza village, 4 km to the southeast of Aleppo City.

The Syrian army launched in May 2013 a wide military offensive against terrorist groups to drive them out of the country.
