Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Iran’s progress, influence, grandeur and spiritual dominance will increase in the region and beyond.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Iran’s progress, influence, grandeur and spiritual dominance will increase in the region and beyond as long as the revolutionary movement and ideology continue to exist, al-Alam news website reported.

In a meeting with a number of Iranian elites in the capital, Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei said that international scientific centers which determine indicators for scientific progress bear testimony to Iran's development.

"Folks on official and unofficial forums deny [Iran's progress] and regard it as illusion," his eminence noted.

He said disappointing the youth regarding the present and future will be a betrayal of national honor.
