Israeli occupation Forces killed a Palestinian teenager who allegedly attempted to stab an occupation soldier at a border crossing in the northern West Bank on Monday.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the Palestinian as Ahmed Abu El Rob, 16.
A second Palestinian, allegedly an accomplice, was arrested, according to occupation police.
The attempted attack took place on the Palestinian side of a crossing between the occupied territories and the occupied West Bank, the Zionist defense ministry said.
It was the third attempted stabbing at the crossing in recent weeks, according to the ministry.
Clashes erupted weeks ago after occupation authorities repeatedly stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds allowing Zionist settlers to stage their prayers there and desecrate the holy compound.
Nine Israelis, 68 Palestinians have been killed in the clashes since the beginning of October, raising Israeli fears of another Palestinian intifada or uprising.
