At least ten Egyptian policemen were killed in a bombing in the Sinai Peninsula on Wednesday, state media reported, as the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group claimed a suicide attack.
State television said there were also wounded in the bombing in North Sinai provincial capital El-Arish.
Earlier reportes said that three police personnel were killed in the attack.
The ISIL group's affiliate in Sinai said one of its militants drove an explosives-laden vehicle into a police club in the town.
