Wide Condemnations against Beirut’s Dahiyeh Twin Blasts

The twin suicide bombings which blasted on Thursday the area of Burj al-Barajneh in Beirut Southern Suburb was widely condemned by the Lebanese political parties and figures

BlastThe twin suicide bombings which blasted on Thursday the area of Burj al-Barajneh in Beirut Southern Suburb was widely condemned by the Lebanese political parties and figures and labeled as terrorist acts which aim at challenging the social environment of the resistance and stirring the Sectarian sedition.

Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, condemned the terrorist blasts, stressing that "they want to hamper Lebanon and we must not allow this disruption."

Prime Minister, Tammam Salam condemned the twin blasts which targeted innocent people.

"We denounce this criminal act which can't be justified," the PM said.

He called on the Lebanese to unite in face of strife schemes.

Head of "Change and Reform" Bloc, General Michel Aoun, denounced during a phone call the twin blasts, saying that "the two blasts were a crime of despair after defeat and we should fight with confidence."

General Aoun called for the preservation of security, wondering how many blasts should happen in order for people to be convinced of the need to uproot the takfiri terrorism.

PSP Chief, Deputy Walid Jumblatt condemned the horrible terrorist bombings that rocked Beirut's southern suburbs and targeted innocent citizens.

"Marada" Chief, Sleiman Franjiyeh denounced the twin blasts which  resulted in the death and injury of innocent citizens.

Many other Lebanese parties and public figures denounced the two terrorist explosions, stressing the importance of national unity.
