Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said that President Vladimir Putin will meet Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei during his visit to Tehran to attend the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit.
Talking to reporters on Friday, Ushakov added that Putin is scheduled to hold important talks with the Leader and President Hassan Rouhani during his visit to the Iranian capital.
He is to discuss mutual cooperation in the fields of energy, engineering, economy and trade with his counterpart Rouhani.
The Third GECF Gas Summit will be held on November 23 to discuss market outlook and strategy.
GECF is the gathering of the world’s leading gas producers that provides a framework for exchange of experience, views, information and data, as well as coordination in gas related developments among member countries.
