A Palestinian armed with a knife approached a hitchhiking spot near a Jewish settlement bloc in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday and was shot dead by a Zionist soldier, police sources said.
The incident occurred near the Gush Etzion bloc of settlements south of al-Quds, the site of a series of recent attacks.
A Palestinian holding a knife attempted to stab a Zionist pedestrian at a junction near the settlement bloc and was shot dead by a Zionist soldier, police and the occupation army said.
There were no Zionist casualties reported.
Later in the day, in the northern West Bank, a Palestinian woman or teenager tried to carry out similar heroic operation near the occupation settlement of Einav was shot.
The Zionist authorities did not immediately provide further details on the woman or whom she sought to stab at a crossing near the settlement.
Violence erupted since a group of Zionist settlers stormed AL-Aqsa compound in occupied al-Quds under the protection of Zionist security forces, killing so far 102 Palestinians and claiming 17 Zionists.
Few Palestinians of those who were killed have been young people who carried out or tried to carry out stabbing and running over operations, while many other Palestinian martyrs have been shot dead by Zionist security forces during clashes.
The international community has repeatedly called for moves to reduce tensions but Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to step up punitive measures.
