Lebanese resistance fighters on Wednesday inflicted heavy losses upon Nusra Front terrorists in Arsal barrens, killing a commander and seven other militants.

Battlefield sources told al-Manar that Hezbollah fighters targeted a convoy for Nusra terrorists in Wadi al-Khayl area in Arsal barrens.

“The convoy was consisted of three cars,” the sources said, adding that one 4x4 vehicle was destroyed.

The commander Abu Firas al-Jibbeh was killed along with three militants, the sources told al-Manar.

Clashes erupted later between the resistance fighters and the terrorists who tried to pull the bodies of their fellow militants.

The clashes killed four other militants, according to the sources.
