Yemeni army and the Popular Committees destroyed on Wednesday 8 vehicles of the US-Saudi aggression forces, including armored vehicles, during repelling the invaders' attempt to progress toward Al-Labanat area in al-Jawf province, military sources told Al-Manar reporter.
The sources pointed out that "mercenaries of the aggression forces are withdrawing after their attempt to advance toward Al-Labanat was foiled, leaving the bodies of 20 dead behind."
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 258 days now to restore power to fugitive President Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi. The Saudi-US aggression has so far killed at least 6,579 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Yemeni national military, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
