Takfiri militants torched on Wednesday a church in Yemen's second city of Aden, in the second such move by terrorists in few months.
Field sources in Aden told al-Manar that the Takfiri militants set Hafoun church ablaze in Mualla region.
It is not the first time in which terrorists torch a church. Earlier in September, the Takfiri insurgents torched St Joseph, a Roman Catholic church in the central Crater neighborhood of Aden, a day after it had been damaged by vandals.
The sources said that Aden has been a stronghold for ISIL (so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant) Takfiri group, noting that the presence of forces loyal to fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi is nominal and limited in an area close to al-Maashiq Palace in the port city.
Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
Takfiri militants have been controlling several areas across the country's south, especially in Aden.
