The army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, retook Brendi and al-Rabia mountains, after killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons, a military source announced on Wednesday.

In the northern rural Lattakia, the Syrian army managed to control over the Atira village and the Siritel hill northeast of Zahia neighborhood.

Military operations against terrorist organizations in other areas across the country are going on.
