Future bloc MP Samir Jisr said that Saad Hariri and Walid Jumblatt met in Turkey last month

Future bloc MP Samir Jisr said that Al-Mustaqbal bloc leader MP Saad Hariri and Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt met in Turkey last month.
 
According to the National News Agency on Thursday, Jisr said that two men, along with Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi, met on July 5 but does not yet know the details of the sit-down.

Jisr commented on recent reports that weapons were smuggled from Lebanon into Syria, saying, “Hezbollah is for sure [the group] that gave these gifts of weapons to its allies.” He warned Hezbollah officials against accusing the Future Movement of smuggling weapons into the neighboring country.
 
“We advise them to remain silent, because we waited, remained silent and did not disclose the names [of smugglers] in order to prevent strife in North Lebanon,” Jisr told Al-Jumhuriya newspaper in an interview published on Thursday.
