Two Palestinians stabbed three Israelis near Al-Quds’ Old City on Wednesday before police shot them, killing one attacker and wounding the other, police said.
Israel's Magen David Adom emergency medical service said the three Israeli were taken to hospitals in al-Quds in serious condition.
The incident occurred at the Old City's Jaffa Gate, a popular entrance for tourists at a time of increased visits to the Holy Land for the Christmas season.
The occupied territories have been rocked by a wave of attacks against Zionists in retaliation of the Israeli repressive measures against the Palestinians across the West Bank and especially in al-Quds. Zionist settlers backed by occupation forces have been repeatedly storming the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, sparking Palestinian anger.
Since the start of October has claimed the lives of 124 on the Palestinian side, 17 Israelis.
