An unnamed fisherman was injured by bullets fired by occupation soldiers on a warship near Beit Lahiya" in northern Gaza, a spokesman for the emergency services in Gaza. Adham Abu Selmiya said.
Abu Selimya added the fisherman was "moderately" injured and taken to Kamal Adwan hospital in Beit Lahiya for treatment.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said she was looking into the reported incident.
Israel maintains a naval blockade of the Gaza Strip and restricts fishing to a zone extending three nautical miles off the coast of the Palestinian territory.
